Shilpi Joshi
Founder and Director

Shilpi is a highly experienced facilitator, executive and team coach. She has worked in learning and organisational development for over 20 years with clients from a wide range of industries in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors across Asia Pacific. She primarily works in the areas of leadership and team development. 

 

Shilpi’s corporate experience includes, Director of Organisational Development at Fairfax Media and Head of Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) at the Australia Securities Exchange (ASX). In these roles Shilpi was responsible for leadership, sales and editorial capability, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent and performance management. In her role at Fairfax Media, she was the Organisational Development Lead for several major transformational change projects including, Activity Based Working, major IT projects and transformation of the Australia Community Media Business. Shilpi’s flexible style and her ability to provide pragmatic, commercially driven solutions gained her the reputation of being a trusted adviser and respected leader.

 

As a facilitator, Shilpi designs and delivers a range of programs including developing high performing teams, leadership development, leader-as coach, leading change and building resilience. She has also worked extensively with individuals and teams to translate, align and communicate business strategy effectively.

 

In her approach to learning design and delivery, Shilpi brings both a strategic and commercial focus to her work, while maintaining pragmatism and a clear view of business readiness. She is passionate about developing people,  and builds credibility quickly with groups and individuals through her engaging, considered and authentic facilitation style. Shilpi engages people through her personal values of Respect, Care and Equality.

 

Shilpi also has extensive executive coaching experience at middle and senior executive levels. Through her years of experience as a coach, she has developed a strong track record in building heightened self-awareness, engagement and  improved role performance. She has worked extensively with high potential leaders, assisting in current role performance and successful transition into new roles. Shilpi’s work often includes helping her clients to build a personal leadership brand that focuses on what’s most important for themselves, their people and the organisation’s  future success. She takes a  ‘whole person’ approach to coaching and supports her clients to integrate their personal and work goals to help increase their overall wellbeing and a deeper sense of fulfilment.

  • Master of Communication Disorders (by Research, University of Sydney)

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology, University of Sydney)

  • Certificate IV Assessment and Training
